Claudian

Character in Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, in 2 quests, quest giver in 2.

First met in Strawman Defense. Found in Eastern Thanalan (X 20.1, Y 20.4).

Story

  1. 132Strawman Defense

Claudian is a researcher studying the ruins at Highbridge. Birds keep swooping at him, and he is very nervous.

Claudian is afraid of heights and talks himself through it. He says the birds stop all his research, so he gives you scarecrows to set up. When the birds are dealt with, he thanks you and heads back to work.

  2. 133Scholarly Funds

Claudian has made progress in his research at Highbridge, but he has only his own two hands to do the work.

Claudian hopes the Order sends help to restore old Belah'dian artifacts. He sends you with a report to Kyokyozo at Thal's Respite. The report shows the ruins hold the resting place of Lalafuto IV, and help is sent.
