Steps

  1. Slay coeurl pups and collect coeurl pup whiskers.
  2. Deliver the coeurl pup whiskers to Teteroon.
Journal
  1. Teteroon has places for you to go and thingies for you to get.
  2. Teteroon has asked that you help him brew Qiqirn firewater. To do so, slay coeurl pups to obtain three coeurl pup whiskers.
  3. You have procured the required ingredients. Take them back to Teteroon.
  4. Teteroon has set about brewing his Qiqirn firewater from the ingredients you have provided. But good firewater takes time. Speak to him again later to learn how his concoction turns out.

Easter egg The name 'coeurl' comes from A. E. van Vogt's 1939 story 'Black Destroyer'. There, a Coeurl is a large, smart, tentacled black cat-like animal.
FF nod Coeurls are a stock Final Fantasy monster. They have been in the series since Final Fantasy II.
In-game text The whisker's item text has a dry joke: it takes a coeurl 'almost a full year' to grow its first whiskers, and 'less than a minute' to lose one.
Title reference The title plays on 'microbrewing', brewing in a small brewery. The word 'micro' fits a small Qiqirn brewing his own firewater by hand.
