Steps
- Slay earth sprites.
- Speak with Reremaki

Journal
- Lululo of the Golden Bazaar once more seeks an adventurer to kill the beasts that vex her.
- An attack by a group of earth sprites has resulted in the shipment of Lululo's mining tools being delayed. Slay three earth sprites in the area to clear the road for safe passage.
- You have slain the earth sprites. Travel to Camp Drybone and tell the merchant Reremaki that the road is safe for delivery of the mining tools.
- Reremaki assures you that he will be taking the tools to the Golden Bazaar as soon as he and his chocobo are able.

What you know from earlier quests 1
- #101 Impish Implications: Lululo has you slay four vandalous imps so the frightened miners come back. She says the mythril veins are still only rumors, and she fears real mining is a long way off.
Reremaki is a merchant at Camp Drybone. Earth sprites attacked him while he brought Lululo's
digging tools down from the Black Shroud.
What happens in this quest spoilers for this quest
- Lululo explains that earth sprites attacked Reremaki, the merchant bringing her digging tools, and he escaped to Camp Drybone. She asks you to clear the road and tell him to finish the trip.
- Reremaki thanks you for clearing the sprites. He regrets fleeing to Camp Drybone, where dead bodies lie all around. He plans to leave for the Golden Bazaar once his chocobo, his riding bird, is fit to travel.

It seems the Twelve are intent on plaguing me all my days─before with imps and now with earth sprites.
I ordered a haul of digging tools from a merchant to the north. He was headed down from the Black Shroud when the earth sprites overtook him. Luckily, he was able to escape to Camp Drybone with his life.
I need you to make that road safe, friend. Put down three of these earth sprites to keep the others at bay and ease the minds of any traveling merchants.
Once the deed is done, find the merchant Reremaki at Camp Drybone and tell him to bring his haul the rest of the way here.
Speak with Reremaki.

You fought off the sprites? Gods bless you for that, stranger! Lululo will have her tools.
- JA ほ、本当にアーススプライトを倒したんだろうなぁ。 ‘Y-you really did defeat the earth sprites, I hope?’ English joyfully blesses the stranger for it; Japanese nervously doubts the sprites were really defeated.
I fled here out of fear for my life, but...I've come to regret that. Have you taken a look about? There are bodies littering the ground. Dead bodies!
- DE Diese Siedlung ist mir allerdings nicht ganz geheuer, allein vor dem Namen gruselt es mich schon ganz gehörig! ‘This settlement isn't quite right to me, though; the name alone gives me the creeps!’ English is spooked by dead bodies on the ground; German is spooked by the settlement's name.
I've no desire to stay here any longer than I must. Once I see to it my bird's fit for travel, I'll be making for the Golden Bazaar.
