Aeluuin

Story

1. 160Potable Perils

Aeluuin is the innkeeper of the Bobbing Cork at Fallgourd Float. One of his drunk customers has lost the key to his room.

Aeluuin grumbles that guests who cannot hold their liquor should stick to tea. He thanks you warmly for the key. He says rumors of a suspicious masked man have him and his customers on edge.

2. 161Cleaning House

Aeluuin is upset that his lazy staff let the inn's paintings gather dust. He wants you to clean them.

Aeluuin lends you his chocobo duster, hoping his staff learn a lesson from seeing a guest work. He loves one painting upstairs of a lonely figure gazing into the distance. It moves him, but nobody knows who painted it.

3. 162Trouble on the Road

Aeluuin is worried. A young woman booked a room at the inn tonight, but she has not arrived.

Aeluuin fears the ill rumors and is relieved when you say the girl is safe. He almost mentions the masked man, then stops himself. He feels responsible for his guests and goes to prepare her a warm bed and hot meal.

4. 163Meals for Miners

Aeluuin trusts you more than his own staff. He has another job: delivering three basket lunches to prospectors at Finders' Bluff.

Aeluuin explains that an adventurer once ate three lunches and ran off without paying. He is glad the prospectors enjoyed the food and says their gold helps the region thrive. He offers you a place at the Bobbing Cork any time.
