1. 58Without a Doubt

   Haldbroda works at Candlekeep Quay. In his letters to Ahtbyrm, he says he never saw the missing shipwright Fyrilsmyd or his supplies.

   Haldbroda calls Ahtbyrm a "self-righteous dog" and is shaken by the Turtleback Island threat. He swears on his grandmother's grave that he knows nothing. The Quay has been overwhelmed since a Lominsan cargo ship sank off the Salt Strand.

2. 62Righting the Shipwright

   Haldbroda is still at Candlekeep Quay, busy after the cargo ship wreck off the Salt Strand, and annoyed that you doubted him.

   Haldbroda tells you to stop questioning his character and help search the Salt Strand for survivors of the wreck. He suggests Fyrilsmyd may be among them. His name means "Kind Brother" in old Roegadyn, though he is unfriendly to you.
