1. 136Friendlier Skies

   Kyokyozo mentions Hihibaru as a merchant of Highbridge who may support her petition.

   Hihibaru calls himself a common trader. He loves the idea of airship flights, signs the petition, and plans to take it to Highwind Skyways. He wishes someone would deal with the Qiqirn troubling Highbridge.

2. 141Shadow of Darkness

   Hihibaru is a merchant at Highbridge, a stop on a trade route in eastern Thanalan. He is always short of customers.

   Hihibaru greets you warmly and says he can provide anything, probably. At first he takes your question as a shopping request. Then he hints that the masked man is in some rumors he heard, and asks you to linger.

3. 142Highbridge Times

   Hihibaru claims he can help you find the masked man, but he is mostly worried about his struggling shop at Highbridge.

   Hihibaru sold everything for his business, hoping for pilgrims at Highbridge. Beastman raids keep them away, and he fears going bankrupt. He snaps at you, then apologizes. He suspects someone is directing the Qiqirn raids and promises to watch for the masked man.

4. 143Where There Is Smoke

   Hihibaru says he finally has real news about the masked man, because he saw him with his own eyes.

   Hihibaru saw the masked man meet Qiqirn at a fire near Thal's Respite. He gives you a smoldering coal to call a similar meeting. The bandit's scroll bears a prayer to Rhalgr, god of Ala Mhigo, so he judges the man Ala Mhigan.

5. 146On to Little Ala Mhigo

   Hihibaru links the Ala Mhigan bandit to the masked man and has an idea for where you should look next.

   Hihibaru sends you to Little Ala Mhigo, a lawless refugee settlement in southern Thanalan. His daughter Hihira moved there, and he asks you to send her his love; he thinks of her every day. He wishes you well as you leave.
