Trachtoum

Story

1. 159Wrath of the Titan

Trachtoum works at the Grey Fleet mills in lower La Noscea. He is a former member of the Company of Heroes, the mercenaries who once beat Titan.

Trachtoum is singing when you arrive and grumbles about the price of fame. Still, he agrees to help, calls himself the Company's best axeman, and asks what you want to know.

2. 168Tales from the Tidus Slayer

Trachtoum is eager to tell you the tale of how the Company of Heroes beat a primal.

Trachtoum boasts of fighting a primal he calls Tidus for three days and nights. When you doubt him, he refuses to share the secret tactics unless you kill the rats by the windmill. Then he lets slip that you saved him the hassle.

3. 169Hungry Hungry Goobbues

Trachtoum still has not told you how the Company beat Tidus, and now seems to ignore you.

Trachtoum says you must prove your strength by slaying a goobbue, a big beast drawn to the flour from the mill. You kill one west of the Grey Fleet. He is shocked, but still unsure about sharing his secrets.

4. 170The Lominsan Way

Trachtoum still doubts you are ready to face Tidus and wants you to prove yourself again.

A miller catches Trachtoum claiming your goobbue kill. After a boulder-breaking contest, he admits he never served in the Company of Heroes. He lied in panic after being turned away for work, and names Wheiskaet, a real captain, at Costa del Sol.
