- Ademar
is in the dark and needs an adventurer's aid. - Ademar
has exhausted his supply of lantern oil, making it impossible for him to prospect at night. Procure an alternate light source for him by weakening bright balloons and then capturing them with his lamps. - You have successfully fashioned two
balloon lamps. Deliver them to Ademar
. - Ademar
expresses his thanks, then promptly returns to his digging. The life of a prospector affords little time for idle banter.

Easter egg Ademar's
'Them's gold in thar hills' twists the old saying 'there's gold in them thar hills', which means there is money to be made. For a gold prospector, he means it literally.
Easter egg Ademar
ends with a sung 'high-ho!' as he goes back to digging. It sounds like 'Heigh-Ho', the song the Seven Dwarfs sing while working in their mine in Disney's Snow White.
FF nod Balloons are an old Final Fantasy monster, first seen in Final Fantasy II. Like bombs, they blow themselves up, which is why the lamp's text says this one is 'ready to self-destruct'.
In-game text The
Balloon Lamp's text reveals what the bright balloons are: young voidsent, creatures from the void, not simple floating lights.
