Minfilia is at the Waking Sands with the Scions of the Seventh Dawn.

What you know from earlier quests 7
    • #86 The Scions of the Seventh Dawn: She welcomes you home after five years, as Louisoix said. The Scions protect Eorzea from the primals, godlike beings. Your power, the Echo, shows people's pasts and lets you understand any speech. She has it too, asks your help, and shares the password "wild rose."
    • #88 A Wild Rose by Any Other Name: Minfilia welcomes you to the Scions and introduces its leaders. She thinks people forget you because of the power Louisoix used to save your life. She asks you to lead an investigation into crimes in Ul'dah that may involve a primal, a godlike being.
    • #89 Unsolved Mystery: Isembard says Minfilia names the Amalj'aa as the culprits behind the disappearances, so he advises you to look into them first.
    • #105 Dressed to Deceive: Thancred sends you to report to Minfilia. She praises your work and says only the Amalj'aa know where the abducted were taken. She fears blood must be spilled before this is over.
    • #107 Life, Materia and Everything: Minfilia lends you a dagger to take to Mutamix. She admires how much one piece of materia improves it, and urges you to use materia, since good gear can decide victory or defeat. She then turns to your next mission.
    • #109 Lord of the Inferno: Minfilia is relieved to see you safe. With Thancred, she explains that primals feed on crystals and worship. She says those with the Echo, like you, cannot be tempered, or forced to serve a primal. She leaves out the captives' fate.
    • #112 A Hero in the Making: Minfilia warns that fame has a price. Officers from all three Grand Companies (city armies) come to recruit you. She urges you to join one for safety among friends, gives you a linkpearl to keep in touch, and hopes you still aid the Scions.

    • #112 A Hero in the Making: Raubahn mourns those lost in the battle at Carteneau, then scolds a divided, greedy Ul'dah. He names the Amalj'aa and the Garleans as threats and calls all to unite under the Immortal Flames, in the name of the sultana.

Minfilia

Can you hear me, [name]? This is Minfilia.

An officer of the Immortal Flames contacted me with news of your enlistment. My congratulations, Private [name].

I have no doubt that you are eager to make the acquaintance of your new comrades, but I would ask that you pay a visit to your old ones first. Remember: though you are now a Flame of Ul'dah, you are no less a Scion! Pray return to the Waking Sands at your earliest convenience. There are some friends here whom I would very much like you to meet. We shall be waiting!

It seems your presence is required elsewhere.

But before you leave, perhaps you could find a moment to speak with Commander Swift. He is not one to see new recruits go into the field unprepared.

  • FR Avant de partir, je pense que vous avez tout intérêt à aller saluer le colonel Ryder. ‘Before leaving, I think you would do well to go and greet Colonel Ryder.’ English names him Commander Swift; French calls him Colonel Ryder.

Minfilia

Welcome back! It seems you wasted no time putting your skills to work!

And so Minfilia welcomes you to the next chapter of your tale...

  • FR Ainsi, Minfilia poursuivit sa conversation... ‘Thus, Minfilia continued her conversation...’ English says Minfilia welcomes you to the next chapter of your tale; French says she continued her conversation.

This concludes the main scenario for the Beta Version.

Though your journey has come to an end for now, exciting new experiences yet remain, including a wide range of quests and dungeons.

  • FR Outre l'épopée, cette version vous propose également de relever plusieurs défis, comme les donjons instanciés, les opérations de guilde ou encore les ALÉA. ‘Besides the epic, this version also offers you several challenges to take on, such as instanced dungeons, guild operations or the ALÉA.’ English promises quests and dungeons; French lists instanced dungeons, guild operations and ALÉA instead of quests.

We hope you will continue to enjoy FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn Beta Version! Thank you for playing!

Welcome back, [name]! Lady Minfilia awaits you within.
